Details:
My brother ran this in a 360 for about year or less, back 1976-'77. A quick google search showed various sites, message boards, etc. This distributor is designed for high rpm performance applications, no vacuum advance used. Original box beat up is included.
Unit is in decent shape, and includes 2 used Mallory distributor caps, the special red plastic degree key, to adjust total degrees of crankshaft advance. Example: hot-spark 1-3mal8u1, and others. Base oil seal o-ring is intact. Electronic ignition conversion kits exist to convert this distributor as well.
Looks like nearly all its service life is still there. W info relating to this unit. Its dusty, theres marks on the base from distributor hold down clamp.
Original used Mallory dual point sets, condenser, and rotor are present included. Heres a used Mallory dual point distributor pn YL-579-hd, for Chrysler la series small block engines, from the 1960s to 1980 's.
Overall this distributor is clean. Instructions for using degree key included.
