Introduction:

The Mopar TX-1101 426 Hemi 440 Nascar distributor is a performance part that was originally used in Dodge's successful Nascar racing program in the sixties. Installing one in a modern Dodge Charger can significantly improve the engine's performance. However, before making a purchase, it's important to weigh the benefits against the potential downsides. In this analysis, we'll explore the pros and cons of installing a Mopar TX-1101 426 Hemi 440 Nascar distributor in your Dodge Charger.

Details:

I truly am out of my depth on this distributor and have tried all available resources. This distributor came with a NASCAR Hemi motor but I m not certain it was from. I m sure there is a Mopar expert out that has Chrysler documentation but I have not found him. It has an original Chrysler ID tag on it that the TX-1101 number and 8-70-75 hand stamped below.

It has a full bearing supported main shaft, tachometer drive and sliding mechanism on the bottom that goes into top of modified gear I don't have gear, sorry. I've had it for many years just sitting on a shelf and tried to research several times with no success. I m getting old so its time to part with it.
