This is a true high performance coil that produces 65,000 volts spark through to 7,500 rpm. Note when used with a roller cam bronze drive gear is recommended by the mfr. A new 65,000 volt coil is included and it will look great in your show car or daily driver but more importantly no brain box fancy wiring.

Simply drive out the roll pin holding gear on, swap to bronze and re-install. The steel gear it comes with is fine hydraulic and solid cams distributor ready to run cap, rotor, coil, body, gear, shaft, module go. 8 plug wires and 12vdc you can head down the road. This is a completely new Procomp distributor to fit any small block Ford its replacement factory oem distributors but all self contained.

The hei distributor shaft is also thicker than some competitors shafts. It requires a 12 volt input only and has mechanical vacuum advance built in just like the oem one does. High performance coil: 100 new 65,000 volt coil.

No brain box is needed with this distributor. They work very well thru about 7,500 rpm.
