The design closely follows the look of original 25D4 Lucas distributors, and there are 16 easily-changed advance curves to get your Ignition systems performance just way you want it. The use of a transistor-type coil will damage the CSI distributor, and should not be used. Curves are adjusted using a screwdriver in rotary switch, with bright flashing LED indicator to show the selected curve all concealed underneath distributor cap. I bought this distributor for my '60 TR3A, and had it installed a very brief test run of 3 or 4 miles.
The curves are for the TR4/TR4A cars with 86mm or 87mm or larger pistons and liners, but will work equally well TR2 TR3 engines - especially those which have had their 83mm pistons/liners replaced a larger size.
