There is no discernible play between the shaft and housing. Double the PMS below for engine. The drive gear looks very good. It is very close to OEM specs.

Production date is late 1940, which coincides with the beginning of 1941 model year production. Considering the age of this distributor, amount wear indicated is quite minor. This distributor has been serviced by me. It holds a solid 36 degrees of dwell all through the RPM range, and advance curve reads following: All readings are noted in Distributor RPM's, which is 1/2 Engine RPM's.

It has been run calibrated in my Sun 504 Distributor Tester. It was completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, lubricated and reassembled using NOS USA made points, condenser, rotor. This is a used 1941-48 Chevrolet 216 distributor.
