Details:

This distributor comes with the correct and original tested good used German Bosch DVDA vacuum canister, dust clamp restored heavy duty VW hold down for type 4 buses. All the parts are cleaned in an industrial cleaner. The dwell is set on my Sun distributor machine post restoration while the checked to ensure it meets Bosch's specifications. They are then re-bright zinc plated for years of corrosion resistance.

The internal steel parts have a rust preventative coating applied to prevent corrosion. The distributors are then reassembled with distributor grease and oil. Damaged screws are replaced with new correct cheese head. I install new points, condenser, rotor and a distributor cap.

Every distributor I restore is fully disassembled. This is a fully restored German Bosch 022905205AC automatic transmission distributor for bay buses. These distributors will last for decades to come w/proper servicing. They are then inspected and measured for wear.

Two new main shaft fiber washers are installed and the drive dog is shimmed to spec. All the external distributor cap clips, condenser clip, drive dog, its spring and screws are stripped of their remaining zinc coatings. The plastic spring retainers and washers are replaced if they bad. These distributors are ready to bolt in your engine.

The distributor body has any oxidation or stains removed.
