Details:

Post cleaning, all parts were inspected and measured. These are fully restored Porsche 022905205AA DVDA distributors used on 1974 914's. The original and correct DVDA canister is mounted right in spec as well. It was right in spec.

New fiber washers are installed. It leaves the finish looking new. I also installed a new dust cap. I installed new points, condenser, cap rotor.

The advance weight springs and points pivot plate tension clip were also zinc plated dipped in a black chromed. They were the re-bright zinc plated for years of corrosion resistance. I tested the distributor on my Sun machine post restoration. The body was media blasted with a fine to remove stains/oxidation.

The distributors go through the full restoration process. All the external steel parts were stripped of their remaining zinc coating. They are fully disassembled with all the parts being cleaned in an industrial cleaner.
