These are fully restored bay bus DVDA distributors. Also included is an original, restored VW distributor hold down clamp. All the external steel parts were stripped of their remaining zinc coating. I also check each original and correct DVDA vacuum canister to ensure they retard advance the degrees at right.

It leaves the finish looking new. I test each distributor on my Sun machine. The distributors go through the full restoration process. They were the re-bright zinc plated for years of corrosion resistance.

These distributors have the original and correct DVDA vacuum canisters that are tested. Post cleaning, all parts were inspected and measured. It was fully disassembled with all parts being cleaned in an industrial cleaner. Post restoration, new points, condenser, cap and rotor dust are installed.

The body was media blasted to remove stains/oxidation. These distributor were used on 1974 bay buses running dual sole PDSIT carbs. The screws were also dipped in gold chromed solution for the like new appearance. They are right in spec.
